Awakening Impact Ministries’ Vision

By February 7, 2021August 23rd, 2021No Comments
Isaiah 49:1-3

The vision of Awakening Impact Ministries (AIM) is based on Isaiah 49. This is the reason for the logo being of a man shooting an arrow.

And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword;
In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me,
And made Me a polished shaft;
In His quiver He has hidden Me.”

Isaiah 49:2

The arrow’s head is the gift, the shaft is the character, and the feathers are wisdom. The quiver is the hiding place of moving from being called to being chosen.

1. Awakening:

A. Spark an awakening, that produces revival, that results in reformation:

The fruitfulness of the ministry gift the founder’s life has been in sparking a revival. Whether that is at a church level, a people group level or a national level, again and again, the Lord has used His grace and gifting to bring revival.

B. The main vision of AIM is to bring awakening of the largest reformation of the century:

The Father heart of God is to have sons and daughters growing from glory to glory.

C. The other part of the plan of God is to have a Temple for His Spirit:

Therefore AIM teaches and believes in the importance of outworked holiness and righteousness in its leaders -whilst maintaining grace towards those working out their salvation.

D. A Victorious Bride for Jesus:

The message is also that Father God wants a glorious Bride who will be victorious and worthy of His Son – Jesus Christ.
Therefore the message is also one having a victorious eschatology: that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will cover the earth.

E. Church Planting amongst the Unreached in the 10/40 window:

This will mean the apostolic ministry will be involved in church planting and reaching unreached people groups so that all nations and peoples can worship before the throne of God. Therefore its primary focus is the 10/40 window, 10deg North of the Equator to 40deg South of the equator, where most unreached people groups are found.

F. A core element to AIM is evangelism through crusades:

Therefore the development of people to move in the power of God through healings and signs and wonders.

G. Teaching on Theology:

The ministry will provide sound teaching based on Father-Son theology so that leaders will have the necessary resources to train others.

2. Impact:

A. People of Faith:

These sons and daughters are expected to live a life full of faith and

B. People of Power:

earnestly seek after demonstrating the power to bring glory to Jesus and the Father.

C. People of Wisdom:

Who will mature the body of Christ through the ministry gifts they carry.

D: Heirs of God and Co-Heirs with Jesus Christ:

Central to the vision of AIM is to bring people out of being ‘orphans’ to being heirs of God and co-heirs with Jesus Christ. Thus setting their minds free of the spirit of bondage to fear.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together

Romans 8:15-17

E. Breakthrough Anointing:

To carry the ‘DNA’ of the ministry’s founder -people who will destroy the devil’s works through the anointing and the glory.

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Acts 10:38

F. Presence is to be valued over anointing:

The vision of the ministry includes bringing all the leaders into a deeper personal relationship with God;
Therefore bringing a recognition that it is out of His Presence that power and glory flow.

So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.

Psalm 63:2
G. The Presence of God:

AIM seeks to focus on the presence of God. The vision of AIM includes the development of music, lyrics, worship ministries, and creative arts.

3. Ministries:

A. Apostles and Prophets:

AIM values those who have an apostolic and prophetic mantle which the founder has, but at the same time recognises and develops the other three ministry gifts.

B. Pastors, Evangelists and Teachers:

AIM will use wisdom in encouraging the other ministry gifts to seek ministry fulfilment through being planted in churches for longer periods of time as the Trinity leads.

C. Teachableness:

AIM recognises that ministries need to be autonomous but also accountable. Therefore teachableness is considered to be a core value of those in leadership in the ministry.

D. Church Planting:

In planting churches, initially, apostolic authority is central. But as the church develops, it will become based on a senior leader surrounded by an eldership and deacons. Apostolic authority may be retained with the planting apostle/prophet or developed within the church under the direction of AIM senior leadership.

E. Leadership Training and Development:

A core element of the vision of AIM is the training and development of leaders.

Initially, AIM will teach established Bible Schools to the Certificate and Diploma level as government requirements allow. The long-term vision is to have AIM Bible schools as the Lord leads and provides.

F. Kingdom Thinking:

AIM recognises the local church as a fundamental expression of the kingdom of God, but not the only expression of the kingdom of God on earth. For clarity, AIM recognises governmental, entrepreneurial and other forms of work as valid expressions of His Kingdom.

G. Living a balanced life:

Leaders are to develop a balanced life so that they can impact the world. In other words, they value their relationship with God and family, especially their spouse, above their ministry.

H. Freedom from all forms of idolatry and sexual immorality:

AIM intends to reach out to a diversity of cultures. Central to this ministry is the teaching of:

that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.

Acts 15:29

I. Unity:

AIM recognises that denominations may have different names but that believers can unite through apostolic relationships.

J. Ethics:

AIM’s vision in maintaining revival is to provide a culture of high ethics between AIM and the affiliated ministries.
The founder recognises poor ministerial ethics as one of the major reasons for the failure of revivals to mature.
AIM will provide training to ensure that leaders have the same culture.

K. Women In Ministry:

AIM has a vision for women to find and develop their own ministries.

Greet Andronicus and Junia, my countrymen and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

Romans 16:7

L. Marriage in the Ministry:

AIM will encourage leaders in the Ministry of AIM to support their wives properly and that the ministry demands do not negatively affect their relationship.

M. Mentoring:

Besides the fivefold ministries identified in Ephesians 4-
other ministries will be encouraged and developed. Another core vision of AIM is to provide mentoring as people desire it.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

Ephesians 4:11
N. Mercy and Help Ministries:

AIM recognises mercy and helps ministries that many are involved in. Although this is not the primary vision of AIM, the ministry will provide time and funds AS they are SPECIFIED in giving from donors to the ministry.

O. Restoration of Ministries:

AIM recognises that ministries and ministers may make wrong choices.
The vision of AIM includes restoration of ministries where possible and that ‘failure’, whether moral or ‘lack of success, is only a failure if the person chooses not to learn from it.
We are now under the dispensation of grace that will enable us to break through into victory. (He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone). This does not mean that repeated moral failure will be considered acceptable.
